Inserts and finishing
Inserts and finishing are the parts that hold a product still inside a box and finish the unboxing: die-cut inserts, foam, molded pulp, tissue, tags, cards, sleeves and tape. We make 23 styles, most from 200 units, in 5 to 14 business days after you approve a free digital proof.

Questions about inserts
Which insert material should I choose?
Paperboard suits light products in cartons, corrugated suits shipping in mailers, foam gives the tightest hold for fragile or high-value items, and molded pulp gives plastic-free protection for bottles, jars and devices.
Can I order an insert without the box?
Yes. Inserts can be ordered on their own to fit a box you already use. Send the inside size of the box and the product size, and the dieline will be drawn to both.
Do inserts add to the lead time?
Each product page shows its own lead time, and when you order an insert with a box, your quote shows one schedule for both.
What is the minimum order for inserts?
Most insert and finishing styles start at 200 units. Some start higher, up to 1,000 for blister cards and soap wraps. Each product page shows its own minimum.
Ready to price your inserts?
Send the size and quantity for a quote and a dieline, usually within one business day. Design help and the Swatch Book of materials are free.
