Custom printed boxes with your logo
Custom printed boxes are mailers, folding cartons and rigid boxes printed with your logo and artwork and made to your size, from 200 units on most styles. Short runs print digitally in full color with no plates, a one or two color logo on kraft is the simplest way to look branded, and foil or spot UV adds a second layer. Every order includes a free digital proof and a dieline drawn to your size.

How the logo gets onto the box
Short runs print digitally: the artwork goes straight onto the board with no plates, so it is the right choice for a few hundred boxes and for running several versions in one order. Offset uses plates and a make-ready, costs more to start and less per sheet after, and is how you get a true Pantone spot color. For most cartons the line crosses at around 500 sheets. The digital vs offset guide walks through it.
Where the logo sits matters more than how big it is. On a mailer, the lid top is what the carrier sees and the inside of the lid is what ends up in the photo, so if there is budget for one upgrade, print the inside. On a carton, the front panel sells and the top panel is what a shopper reads when the box sits in a shelf tray. On a rigid box, a single foil or blind deboss mark on a plain wrap reads as more expensive than a full printed wrap.
Send a vector logo if you have one. If you only have a JPG, our free design help will rebuild it before it goes on the proof. Finish choices are explained in foil vs spot UV vs embossing, and you can feel each one in the Swatch Book.
How an order works
- Send a brief. Product size, quantity and where the packaging goes. The quote and a dieline drawn to your size usually come back within one business day of a complete brief.
- Feel the materials. The Swatch Book of boards, wraps and finishes is free, so you choose a stock with it in your hand.
- Artwork. Drop your art onto the dieline, or use our free design help if you do not have files yet.
- Approve the proof. The complimentary digital proof usually follows within one business day of the artwork. Printed proofs and physical prototypes are available on request. Nothing is produced until you approve.
- Production. Lead time is counted from proof approval: labels 5 to 7 business days, most boxes, bags and pouches 10 to 14, rigid boxes 10 to 18. Each product page states its own.
Questions about custom printed boxes
How is this page different from the custom boxes page?
The custom boxes page helps you pick a box family by where it goes: carrier, shelf, gift or food. This page is about the print: how a logo gets onto each style, which finishes are worth it and what each one costs you in lead time. Same products, same minimums.
What is the minimum order for custom printed boxes?
Most printed box styles start at 200 units, reorders included. Some specialty styles start higher, and each product page states its own minimum.
Can I print just a one color logo?
Yes. A one or two color logo on a kraft mailer or a corrugated shipping box is the plainest way to brand a box, and it often looks better than a crowded full color wrap.
Can you match my brand color exactly?
For a true spot color, choose offset printing with a Pantone match, which is offered on styles such as the sleeve and tray carton. Digital printing builds color from CMYK, which gets close on most colors but not on every bright orange, blue or metallic.
Will I see the printed box before the run?
Yes. Every order includes a free digital proof on a dieline drawn to your size, and nothing is printed until you approve it. Printed proofs and physical prototypes are available on request, with timing confirmed in the quote.
How long do printed boxes take?
Printed mailers take 10 to 14 business days after proof approval, folding cartons 10 to 14 and magnetic rigid boxes 12 to 14. Each product page shows its own lead time.
