When to choose it, and when not to
Choose custom wrapping paper when you want your pattern or logo to travel with the unboxing itself, not just the box, for gifting programs, retail wrap stations, or seasonal drops where the paper is part of the presentation.
Choose a printed tissue paper insert instead for something lighter and lower cost, when the paper sits inside the box rather than around it, and the finished-wrap look isn't the point.

Yes, we can run a different design on each face for an added plate charge, though the usual choice is to print one face and leave the reverse white or kraft to save on setup.
Do you offer food-safe ink for wrapping food gifts?
Yes, water-based and food-safe ink options are available at no significant lead-time difference from standard flexo ink. They're worth choosing if the wrap will touch food directly rather than just the outer box.
What's the difference between ordering sheets and a roll?
Sheets arrive pre-cut and ready to use at a fixed size, which suits a retail wrap station or a fixed box size. A roll lets you cut custom lengths on demand, which suits variable product sizes or a gift-wrap service counter.
Can you match a Pantone color exactly?
Yes on flexo runs over 1,000 units, where we can mix to a specific Pantone reference. Shorter digital runs use CMYK process color, which gets close but won't hit a spot Pantone exactly.
Is the paper recyclable?
The uncoated kraft option is fully recyclable and compostable. The coated matte or gloss finish is recyclable through most curbside paper streams but isn't compostable. That's worth flagging if a compostable claim matters for your packaging.
What resolution do you need for the artwork?
300 dpi at final print size, CMYK color mode, with a 0.125 inch bleed on all sides if the pattern runs to the sheet edge.
How is custom wrapping paper different from custom tissue paper?
Wrapping paper goes around the outside. It is 80 gsm paper coated one side for a crisp fold and sharp print, in 20 by 30 inch sheets or 30 inch rolls, from 300 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. Custom tissue paper is 17 gsm acid-free tissue that sits inside a box or bag over the product, printed one or two colors, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days. A wrapped gift needs wrapping paper; an unboxing layer needs tissue.
