What every label order includes
Every custom label order includes a complimentary digital proof, a print-ready rendering of your artwork on the label dieline, before a single label is produced. If the proof needs adjustment, we revise it at no charge. Turnaround is typically 5 to 7 business days after proof approval; shrink sleeves take 8 to 10 business days.

Label artwork and file requirements
Artwork is accepted as a print-ready PDF with 0.125 in (3.175 mm) bleed on all sides. Minimum resolution is 300 dpi at final print size. Colors should be in CMYK mode; Pantone spot-color matching is available on request. Labels ship roll-fed on a standard 3-in core unless otherwise specified.
For bottle and jar labels, the label width equals the container’s outer diameter times π (3.14159), multiplied by the desired wrap percentage. Use the label size calculator to get your dimensions: it handles the math and adds the correct bleed automatically.

- What is the minimum order for custom labels?
- Most label styles start at 200 units. Shrink sleeves start at 500. The exact minimum is shown on each product page.
- How long do custom labels take?
- Most labels are ready 5 to 7 business days after your proof is approved. Shrink sleeves take 8 to 10 business days. If you have a deadline, tell us when you request a quote and we confirm the timing.
- What file format do you need for artwork?
- Print-ready PDF with 0.125 in bleed, 300 dpi minimum, CMYK color mode. If you don’t have a print-ready file, design help is free: send your logo and brand assets and we build it for you.
- Do you offer waterproof or water-resistant labels?
- Yes. Beer and can labels use wet-strength adhesive stock designed to resist condensation and ice baths. Hot sauce labels use a permanent adhesive, with a wet-strength option for bottles kept cold. Candle labels use a heat-tolerant adhesive that stays bonded during jar burning. Let us know your use case when requesting a quote.
- Can I get samples before ordering?
- Yes. Request a Swatch Book to see printed material and finish samples before committing to a full run.
- What’s the difference between a product label and a bottle label?
- Product labels (roll) are general-purpose, sized for flat or mildly curved surfaces. Bottle labels are die-cut specifically for wraparound application on cylindrical containers, with registration marks to align the seam at the back.
- Do shrink sleeves work on all containers?
- Shrink sleeves work best on glass and HDPE containers with a smooth, uniform surface. Extreme tapers or deeply textured surfaces may need a pre-production sample test. Minimum is 500 units.
- Can you match Pantone colors?
- CMYK printing is standard. Pantone spot-color matching is available on select label styles: confirm when you request a quote. We’ll verify feasibility for your specific style and quantity before accepting the order.
