Choose a hang tag when the piece should be tied to the product rather than lie in the box, because a card is read once and a tag stays on. Choose printed tissue paper when the goal is to hide the product until opened, since a card sits on top and covers nothing.

What should go on the card?
One side for the brand and one line, the other for the message. Keep the message under 60 words, sign it with a first name, and put one ask on it: a review, a follow, a discount for the next order. A QR code beats a typed URL. We will lay it out from your text if you send it with the artwork.
Can each card have a unique code?
Yes. Variable data printing puts a different discount code or QR on every card, from a list you send us or one we generate. It is digital print rather than offset, so it suits runs up to a few thousand. It adds no lead time at 200 units and lets you see which boxes turned into a second order.
What size fits a mailer?
A 4 by 6 card fits every mailer from 6 by 4 upward and sits square on the tissue. 5 by 7 is for boxes 8 by 6 and larger. Business card size, 3.5 by 2, slips into a pouch, a gift bag or a jewelry box. For a square rigid box the 5.5 inch square card looks right.
Kraft or art paper?
Kraft with one color reads as handwritten and honest, and it suits food, candles and soap. Art paper with soft-touch and foil reads as a brand that planned it, and it photographs better. Both are 350 gsm and both print two sides. Choose whichever matches the box it goes in.
Can it be folded?
Yes, a single fold to make a tent card or a small greeting card is scored in the same pass. 350 gsm folds cleanly once. If you want the inside printed too, that is four faces and it prints as one sheet before folding. A folded 5 by 7 becomes 5 by 3.5 in the box.
What is the minimum order for a thank you card?
