When to choose it, and when not to
Choose branded tape when every outbound carton is a marketing touchpoint you already pay to seal anyway, especially for a brand that ships in plain corrugated boxes and wants the tape itself to carry the identity.
Choose a plain kraft or clear tape instead if order volume is too low to reasonably use a 250-roll minimum within a season, since unused printed tape doesn't have another use the way blank tape does.

Questions people ask
What's the difference between BOPP and water-activated kraft tape?
BOPP is a plastic film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, sticks with any standard tape gun, and is the cheaper, more common option. Water-activated kraft is paper tape that needs a wetting dispenser, costs more, but is plastic-free and bonds directly to corrugated fiber for a tamper-evident seal.
Does the tape work with an automatic case sealer?
Yes, both BOPP and water-activated kraft tape run on standard automatic and semi-automatic case sealers. Tell us your sealer model and width and we'll confirm compatibility before production.
How often does the logo repeat along the roll?
Standard repeat is every 3 to 4 inches for a 2 inch wide tape, so the logo appears multiple times across the width of a typical carton seal.
Is water-activated tape actually tamper-evident?
Yes. Once it bonds to corrugated fiber it can't be removed and reapplied without visibly tearing the box surface, which is why it suits high-value or return-fraud-sensitive shipments.
Can I order tape in more than one color?
Yes, up to 2 spot colors on a standard run. More colors are possible at a higher minimum and added lead time since they require additional print stations.
What if I only need a small quantity for a test?
250 rolls is our production minimum since it's what makes the print setup cost worthwhile, but at 2 to 3 inches wide and 110 yards per roll that typically covers several months of shipping volume for a small brand.
