When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a white mailer when your artwork has photographs, pastels or brand colors that must match. Kraft absorbs and dulls ink; white carries it. It is the standard for beauty and skincare subscription boxes.
Choose kraft if you want the natural, low-key look or if the box will get scuffed in transit; white shows marks. Choose a folding carton for shelf display.

Questions people ask
Will white show scuffs?
Some, in transit. A matte aqueous coating helps and is standard on our full color white mailers. If the box ships loose without an outer, consider kraft or a darker print.
Can the inside be white too?
Yes. White both sides costs a little more in board and lets you print full color inside without kraft showing through.
Is the print digital or offset?
Digital from 200 to about 500 units, offset above that where the run justifies plates. You see no difference in color on a proof; we choose the process for the quantity.
Can I add soft-touch?
Yes, on the white top liner. It gives a velvet feel and deepens colors. It marks more easily than a matte coating, so we suggest it for boxes that ship inside an outer.
How are they shipped?
Flat, in bundles of 25, with a fold guide in the first bundle.
How is the white mailer box different from the kraft mailer box?
Same E-flute mailer, same tuck-in lid, same 200 units minimum. The difference is the top liner. White carries photographs, pastels and brand colors that have to match, and it takes a matte or gloss aqueous coat or soft-touch. The kraft mailer box has a natural brown liner that dulls ink and reads small-batch, and it hides scuffs better in transit. White runs 10 to 12 business days after proof, kraft 10 to 12 business days. If the artwork depends on color, choose white.
