Ring box
1000 gsm rigid board, slotted foam insert200 minimum · 12 to 14 business daysA ring box is a small rigid box with a fitted foam or velvet insert slotted to hold a single ring upright and secure, built on the same wrapped-board construction as our other rigid boxes but scaled down to jewelry size. We produce them on 1000 gsm rigid board from 200 units, ready in about 12 to 14 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a rigid ring box for an engagement ring, fine jewelry line, or a proposal-moment product where the box itself is part of the presentation and the ring needs to be held securely and visibly upright.
Choose a small folding carton or a soft pouch instead for costume or fashion jewelry sold at volume, where the lower per-unit cost of a folding carton or fabric pouch matters more than the ceremony of a rigid presentation box.

Questions people ask
Does the insert fit any ring size, or does it need to match a specific size?
The slot is cut to a standard ring band width and works across most ring sizes. For an unusually wide or narrow band, tell us and we can adjust the slot.
Can I get a velvet-flocked insert instead of foam?
Yes, velvet flocking is available as an upgrade from the standard foam insert and gives a more premium in-hand feel when the box is opened.
Is a hinged lid or a separate lid-and-base better for this?
A hinged lid is the more common choice for ring boxes since it opens in one motion for a proposal moment. A separate lid-and-base is available if you prefer that construction.
Can the exterior be a color that's not in your standard wrap range?
Wraps come in a broad range of colors and finishes. Tell us the color you have in mind and we'll confirm whether it's a stock match or needs a custom wrap run.
What's the difference in lead time between this and your other rigid boxes?
Lead time runs the same 12 to 14 business days as our other rigid box styles. The smaller size doesn't shorten production since it's the same wrapped-board process at a smaller scale.
Can I order a mixed batch of ring boxes and larger jewelry boxes together?
Yes, different styles can ship in the same order, but each style still needs to hit its own 200-unit minimum.
How is the ring box different from the jewelry box?
The ring box holds one ring: a small 1000 gsm rigid box with a slotted foam or velvet-flocked insert that keeps the ring upright, and a hinged or two-piece lid. The jewelry box is the wider range, with inserts cut for earrings, pendants, bracelets and sets, and drawer and hinged options. Both start at 200 units in 12 to 14 business days after proof. Engagement and single-ring sales suit the ring box.
