Matte barrier laminate
Matte barrier laminate is a multi-layer pouch film: a matte printed outer, PET for strength, and a PE layer that heat seals. It is the standard film for stand up pouches of dry goods such as snacks, treats, tea and gummies, and food-contact grades are available with documentation supplied with the quote. Coffee, supplements and anything oxygen-sensitive need the stronger foil barrier.

Choose matte barrier laminate for dry products with a short to moderate shelf life: granola, snacks, pet treats, tea, bath salts, gummies. It prints well, can carry a clear window, and the matte surface reads as premium on a shelf.
Skip it for roasted coffee, supplements, cannabis and high-fat products with a long shelf life, where oxygen and odor barrier decide the outcome; use foil barrier laminate. For a natural paper look, kraft PE laminate is the alternative.
