Bubble mailer
Poly bubble mailer, self-seal250 minimum · 8 to 10 business daysA bubble mailer is a padded poly envelope with an internal bubble-wrap lining, built to ship small, light items without a box. We produce them, printed outside in up to four colors, from 250 units, self-seal strip standard, ready in about 8 to 10 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a bubble mailer when the product is small, light and doesn't need a rigid outer shape: jewelry, phone cases, cosmetics, small apparel, anything under about 2 pounds that could dent a corner in transit.
Choose a rigid mailer or a corrugated shipping box instead for anything with corners that can crush, or heavier than about 3 pounds, since a bubble mailer's padding protects against impact but not compression.

Questions people ask
Is the bubble mailer waterproof?
The poly shell resists rain and everyday moisture during transit, but the seams and tear-notch aren't a fully sealed waterproof barrier, so it's not rated for submersion or prolonged wet exposure.
Can I print on the inside too?
No. The bubble lining is on the inside, so print is outside-facing only. If you want branding visible on opening, a printed tissue insert or a thank-you card placed inside works instead.
What's the recycled content option?
A recycled-content poly outer is available on request. The documentation for the exact film, including its recycled share, is supplied with the quote, along with any price difference.
How much weight can a bubble mailer hold?
Our standard mailers are rated to about 2 to 3 pounds depending on size, past which the poly seams and the item's own rigidity become the limiting factor rather than the padding.
Can the mailer be resealed for returns?
Yes. We can add a secondary strip below the main seal specifically for a return or exchange reseal, which is useful for apparel and beauty brands.
Do you offer compostable bubble mailers?
Not in the padded bubble format currently, since compostable film doesn't yet perform reliably with an internal bubble laminate. Our compostable mailer product is the flat, unpadded option if that certification matters more than padding.
How is the bubble mailer different from the rigid mailer envelope?
Cushion versus stiffness. The bubble mailer is a poly envelope lined with 3/16 inch bubble that absorbs knocks on small items like jewelry, phone cases and cosmetics, from 250 units in 8 to 10 business days after proof. The rigid mailer envelope has a chipboard back panel that stops flat items, prints, certificates and cards, from bending, from 500 units in 8 to 10 business days. Small objects suit the bubble mailer; anything that is ruined by a crease suits the rigid mailer.
